Guidelines

Step 1 - View Staff Award Descriptions and criteria to determine which award would be suitable for your nominee.
Step 2 - Complete Nomination Form.  Note:  One form per nomination.  

Please refrain from submitting the same nomination for multiple awards.  Instead, we encourage you to tailor your nomination to the specific award, highlighting the unique contributions that make your nominee a strong candidate for that particular category.

  • All nominations are reviewed by awards selection committees made up of various staff.
  • Only current full-time staff are eligible for University Awards (retired staff are not eligible).
  • Self-nominations are not accepted.
  • Official online nominations for the 2025-2026 academic year are open until February 27, 2026, 5:00 p.m.
  • Nominators agree to release nomination information for review by committees, officers, and nominees.
  • Staff are not eligible to win any given University Award in two consecutive years.
  • Additional eligibility restrictions may apply for certain awards.
